She is a dedicated member of her community and has volunteered and interned at numerous organizations over the years including the American Lung Association, San Mateo County Board-of-Supervisors where she was a policy intern and as a mentor for non-traditional students with Mixed at Berkeley. According to Nicole, “It is an honor to get up and work on a project that will truly transform people’s lives and the community at large.” Nicole recently graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in May of 2021 with a B.A. in Political Science. Having experienced homelessness herself, she is dedicated to helping others overcome such hardships and brings tenacity and expertise to the success of the project.
